Returns and Exchanges for Customers Using In-Store Pickup

EXCHANGES:

Customers who choose to use in-store pickup are welcome to try on their order and request a new size, dependant on the size availability.  If ecomm staff is available (usually M-F 10am - 5pm EST), we would be more than happy to check the warehouse and exchange your order for you on the spot.  If you would like to make an exchange when ecomm staff is NOT available, you must leave your order at the front counter, and it will be processed within the next 2 business days. You will receive email notification when your exchange item is available for pickup.  

If you are processing an exchange when ecomm staff is NOT readily available, please have the following information ready when you drop off your order:

  • Customer Name
  • Order number
  • Reason for exchange
  • What you would like to exchange your item for (ie. different size, different color, different item).
    • ***IMPORTANT:  If you are exchanging for an item of greater value, we will reach out for you to collect the balance/difference before we are able to process your order

RETURNS:

Customers who choose to use in-store pickup are more than welcome to return their new, unworn order to Lakeville within 14 days of receipt.  Orders must be returned with the order receipt along with a written explanation for the return.  Please allow up to 3 business days for the return to be processed, and then 3-5 business days for your bank to process your refund.  You are more than welcome to call or email us for updates regarding your return at any time.

Returns for Customers Using Shipping

EXCHANGES:

Due to the constant movement of inventory, we currently only process returns and refunds. In order to coordinate an exchange, you must place a new order and ship back your unwanted item.   We will issue a full refund for your unwanted item once we receive it at:

We will happily cover the cost of return shipping if the return is a result of our error.

RETURNS

You may return most new, unworn items within 14 days of receipt, via USPS standard for a full refund. Orders must be returned with the order receipt along with a written explanation for the return. We will pay for the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund much more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping

We currently ship USA and Canada only.  Shipping is standard from Massachusetts, USA. Allow up to 5 days for processing, and 10 days for shipping. However, many orders will be received within days.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
